Journal of Global Biosciences (ISSN 2320-1355) is an open access online journal that provides rapid publication of articles in all areas of basic biology, molecular biology, genetics, plant and animal physiology, ecology, microbiology, biochemistry and plant and animal biotechnology.
Articles submitted for publication in Journal of Global Biosciences (ISSN 2320-1355) should strictly adhere to the following:
1. Provide original work in biosciences which is not published elsewhere in any medium by the authors or anyone else, and is not under consideration for publication in any other medium.
2. Journal of Global Biosciences (ISSN 2320-1355) is a scientific journal which publishes latest research results from all fields of biosciences, thus articles should focus on the aims and scope of the journal.
3. Article should be written in English language. Articles should also be clear and correctly grammatically written, in an easily readable style. (Note: All the references should be written in English Language).
The review process is an important aspect of the publication process of an article. It helps an editor in making decision on an article and also enables the author to improve the manuscript. Journal of Global Biosciences operates a double blind review process.
Author(s) identity is removed from the manuscript and shielded from the reviewers during the review process. The reviewer is left with only the manuscript without any information that might enable him/her uncovers the identity of the author(s). Information removed includes the author(s) name, address/affiliation, country, phone/fax and email. Any information in the Acknowledgement and Declaration of Conflict of Interest that may lead to the uncovering of the identity of the author is also removed from the manuscript prior to sending it to reviewers.
Only an editor has the authority to “Accept” or “Reject” a manuscript. If a manuscript is “Accepted”, an Acceptance Certificate is issued to the author(s) and the manuscripts are processed for publication.
If a manuscript is rejected, the authors are informed of the decision and no further processing is done on the manuscript.
If a manuscript requires improvement, it is sent to the author(s) with the editor’s recommendation for further revision. The editor makes a final decision on the revised to “Accept” or “Reject” the manuscript.
The articles are sent to the Editorial Board Members based on their research areas for reviewing.
After receiving the comments from two reviewers and collectively drawing the conclusion, the comments are sent to the authors.
The articles can be fully acceptable or the articles can be completely rejected or the articles may be asked for some minor corrections or the articles may be required to be submitted again after major revision.
Once the revised articles are received from the authors then they are sent for PDF printing.
The authors firstly receive the Gally Proof of their articles which are sent to them by e-mail for any corrections to be incorporated.
After the editing and corrections are done then the authors will receive the Final Gally Proof to see what actually their paper will look as.
After incorporating the final corrections the articles are sent for PDF printing.
The authors receive the Electronic Reprint of their articles. In case or some discrepancies Erratum is provided in the next issue.
Journal will review and update this editorial policy periodically.
